Dynapack MPX 816 is a computerized system used for carrying out Esophageal and Anorectal Manometry studies.
By means of appropriate catheters, the system detects pressure waves caused by contractions of the gastrointestinal walls.
It provides accurate information on the esophageal physiology and enables the diagnosis of either motility or anorectal disfunction (Achalasia, GERD, Hirschsprung disease, Megacolon, incontinence, etc.)
Besides that, it's the only system in America which is able to carry out manometry studies with associated video-deglutogram.
The system contains an internationally standardized pneumohydraulic perfusion pump that works with sterile water, as well as an electronic infusion pump with an internal compressor. Such pumps are equipped with 8 distinct channels. Each channel contains a high sensitiveness pressure transducer, which makes the system more cost-effective.
The Dual Pump is Flex, i.e. it can run on electricity and nitrogen, whichever you like.

- Create and process your own patient database;
- Standardize data acquisition by channel, catheter and study selection;
- Store, review and analyze studies performed in the past;
- Print as many graphs, results and parts of results as necessary. There is a variety of software and resources included or which can be purchased separately.
